Here Comes the Green
I never get tired of this colorful spectacle: Spring is here (Editorial Spring-Edition 2024)
Nature around here has been a little bit … ‘sleepy’. You know what that is like: You don’t feel like getting up to ‘rise and shine’, shake the trees, make the path you’re walking on sparkle with colors, create everything fresh, so that the people around you are impressed … .
I can totally relate to that, because frankly I am an afternoon person. Mornings happen to soon for me. Especially, when daylight saving time kicks in and my body gets an hour late for six months of the year.
So I really do appreciate the effort. Thank you nature! You make me happy with starting this year’s edition of beauty and grace in all the colors of the rainbow.
Speaking of editions: The new edition of the Parsley-Lane Blog is coming up. You will meet some interesting people who talked to me about foods. Three ingredient specials will bring you not only new insights and inspirations, but also a little recipe to go with each ingredient (watch out: the blueberry spies are back).
And of course you will find out, how the second story ‘Silent Waters’ of that tasty fable about Salty & Cara turns out. Right now, things are getting pretty tight, you might even say ‘squeezy’ in Old Valley.
But before all that gets going, you can find me in the big chair under the tree in the backyard. Envisioning all these things. And maybe taking a little nap before the big show is on.
Side Notes:
- This year’s spring editorial picture is dedicated to the true hero of flowers. It is with us practically all year round. Small, humble, but pretty to perfection and always ready to make you smile.
- If you do not know, what ‘blueberry spies’ are, you should try [‘Blueberry Spy Pot’]. And if you have not read about or cannot remember the love and crime story around a starfruit and a cucumber, here is how it all started: [‘Salty & Cara – The Crime Story’].
